Curated by Amanda ❤️

There is something deeply beautiful about repairing what we already have.

In this gentle, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the art of visible mending using simple embroidery techniques — transforming worn, torn, or well-loved pieces into something even more special than before.

Rather than hiding imperfections, we’ll celebrate them.

Through slow stitching, you’ll learn how to patch, reinforce, and embellish fabric in a way that tells a story — extending the life of your clothing while creating something uniquely your own.

What you’ll learn

  • The philosophy of visible mending & slow fashion
  • How to repair holes, tears, and worn areas
  • Simple embroidery stitches perfect for mending
  • How to patch fabric creatively and securely
  • Ways to turn repairs into beautiful design features

The Experience

This is a slow, mindful workshop centred around creativity, sustainability, and connection.

Together, we’ll sit, stitch, and share — learning how to care for our belongings in a more thoughtful way, while creating something beautiful in the process.

No pressure. No perfection.
Just the quiet joy of making and mending.

What’s included

A thoughtfully curated mending kit to use during the workshop and take home, which may include:

  • Fabric patches & scrap textiles

  • Embroidery threads

  • Needle

  • Stitch guide

  • Sample fabric for practice

  • Baked on 44 treat platter & Stir & Stitch Sparkling Punch  (hot drinks may be purchased from the coffee shop)

What to bring

  • Yourself & your willingness to jump out of your comfort zone!

  • Please bring along an item you’d love to repair ❤️
(e.g. jeans, shirt, dress, linen, bag or hat — anything with a story)
