What is deadstock lace?

Deadstock lace refers to high-quality lace that was produced for fashion houses, manufacturers, or dressmakers but never used in final production. These materials were carefully stored when collections changed, factories closed, or production methods evolved.

This is not clearance or seconds stock.
It is first-quality lace, preserved rather than produced again.

Our lace has been held in storage for decades and is now being released in limited quantities.

Why work with deadstock lace?

Deadstock lace offers wholesale buyers access to designs and craftsmanship that are no longer commercially available. Many patterns were produced on traditional looms or using techniques that are now cost-prohibitive or discontinued entirely.

For your business, this means:

  • Distinctive designs not seen in current mass markets

  • Limited runs that support exclusivity

  • No reorders — once a style is gone, it’s gone

  • Genuine vintage or vintage-era character

This scarcity allows you to create collections with a clear point of difference.

Consistency, transparency & supply considerations

We understand the realities of wholesale production and are transparent about quantities and repeatability.

  • Stock is sold by the metre

  • Quantities vary by style (from small lots to larger holdings)

  • Styles cannot be replicated once sold out

  • Bulk and wholesale enquiries are welcome and encouraged

We’re happy to help you assess suitability for your production needs before purchase.

A sustainable sourcing option

Deadstock lace supports a more responsible supply chain by utilising existing materials rather than commissioning new production. For brands and retailers focused on sustainability, it offers a credible, tangible approach — reducing waste while preserving craftsmanship.
